With the abundance of figs at the homestead I decided to make some sweets for my homestead friends this year.  I keep the recipe simple just like my mother and grandmother did.  Brown Turkey Figs and Sugar. That's it!  Nothing artificial or words you can't pronounce.  Keep it simple.
